Current calculator behaviour
The calculator code performs calculations in your browser and does not require an account. To make a scenario shareable, the page can place its inputs in the URL. A shared URL may be saved in browser history, copied to a clipboard, sent to another person or recorded in web-server logs when the page is requested.
Do not enter or share sensitive personal information in calculator fields. A shareable URL is not private.
Technical information and messages
A production website and its hosting providers may process technical request data, such as IP address, requested URL, time and browser information, to deliver and protect the service. If a requested URL contains calculator inputs, those values may be present in request logs.
Compound Interest Tool is owned by Francisco Almeida and is based in Lisbon, Portugal. Before launch, this policy will identify the hosting and email providers, retention practices, international transfers where relevant, and the public privacy contact route.
Advertising and your choices
Google AdSense is disabled in the current site build. Before advertising is enabled, this policy and the Cookie Policy will identify the providers, technologies, purposes and available consent choices that are actually used.
